Follow the money.

Big Money v. The People of Maine.

Susan Collins is the incumbent Republican senator from the state of Maine. She is famous for putting her “concerns” into words without actions. She has also become an expert at soliciting money from outside sources.

Collins’ latest big donors have three things in common:

• they need Collins to get re-elected,

• they are filthy rich,

• and they all live out of state.

Jeffrey Epstein’s world consisted of circles: financial, personal, and political. When those circles overlap, they present a problem for voters. Do we support people who support Trump, who Epstein referred to as his “best friend”, or do we choose a new US Senator? That’s up to Maine. But I do know something about the people in timber towns. They do not like phonies.

Here is a list of Collin’s latest “investors”. They are from Florida, and California - all over hell and gone. Not one is from Maine. Collins is being paid for by flatlanders, from away.

We looked up Collin’s biggest recent donors, and she went 18 for 18 from somewhere else.

My question for Maine: is this who you want?

Ken Griffin, the founder and CEO of Citadel LLC, is the largest individual backer for Sen. Susan Collins during her reelection cycle. He donated $2.5 million to Pine Tree Results PAC, a super PAC dedicated to electing Collins. [1, 2]

Other top billionaire donors include Stephen Schwarzman (who gave $2 million) and Jim Davis (who gave $1 million). Collectively, nearly 100 billionaires and their spouses have poured almost $10 million into Collins’ campaign network, although none of these billionaire donors reside in Maine. Collins’ corruption is nothing new. Former Collins opponent Graham Platner made it clear, appropriately, that her self-dealing cries of innocence regarding her husband’s profits from the government were essentially saying it was none of the voters’ damned business.
